Jesus, you died and rose again to show your love for us and to save us and we are so grateful to you Lord. Amen

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; (ESV)

Jesus, let your light shine through us so that you will be known in all the earth and that all peoples will praise you for your salvation! Amen

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (ESV)

Lord, we are your people because you have written your laws in our hearts and minds, Amen

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. (ESV)

Lord Jesus, we are thankful that you will protect us from the evil one when we turn to you. Amen

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (ESV)

God, you will always answer us when we call to you. Help us to hear you and to wait for your answer. Amen

Who do the crowds say that I am? And they answered, John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen. Then he said to them, But who do you say that I am? And Peter answered, The Christ of God. (ESV)

Jesus, you are greater than all of the prophets because you are the only Son of God. Christ has risen! Amen

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (ESV)

You are a God of justice and because of your son Jesus, all who are faithful will receive their eternal reward with you. Amen

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son. (ESV)

God, you kept your promise to Abraham & Sarah and we are thankful that you keep every promise that you make. Nothing is too hard for you! Amen

For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior. Thank you Jesus for helping us to see who we were and for showing us who we are in you. Amen

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (ESV)

Jesus, help to remember to bring all of our worries and problems to you and when we do, you will fill us with your peace. Amen

Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any. (ESV)

God, we will be your witnesses that there is no other God but you. Amen

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. (ESV)

God, we find our rest in you because you are always with us. Amen

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. (ESV)

May our lives be a constant prayer of thanks and praise to you Jesus. Amen

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.  Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. (ESV)

Jesus, we know that you will help us to do all of these things and to love each other more because you loved us first. Amen

do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (ESV)

Holy Spirit, you live in every believer, so help us to be good stewards of this body as your temple and may everything we do bring glory to you. Amen

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! (ESV)

Lord, we will not glorify ourselves but only you because of what you have done for us. Amen

everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to humble ourselves and exalt you only. Amen

And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. (ESV)

Lord, we are thankful for every provision that your hand has made for us. Amen

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;  he has covered me with the robe of righteousness (ESV)

God, you have given us salvation through your son Jesus and you have covered our sins with his righteousness. You are the Almighty and we rejoice greatly in you! Amen

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone (ESV)

Jesus, we know that our salvation does not come from doing good but our doing good comes from our salvation. Amen
