For the commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet, and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Jesus, thank you for your great love and help us to love each other in every way. Amen

You make known to me the path of life, in your presence there is fullness of joy, at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (ESV)

Father, true joy comes only from being in your presence so we pray that we will always seek to have a deeper relationship with you. Amen

The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation, this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Father, we sing your praises because of your salvation that can only come from the one true God. Amen

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

Holy Spirit, we ask that you would speak to us and provide us with words of encouragement for those around us whenever the opportunity presents itself. Amen

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

Jesus, this is the heart of the gospel message, that you died for our sins and you rose again on the third day. We stand on this truth and this truth is what we will proclaim. Amen

I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress earnestly seek me. (ESV)

Father, we never want you to turn your face from us so we pray that all will confess their guilt to you and seek you with all of their hearts. Amen

So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, Truly here I have seen him who looks after me. (ESV)

Father, thank you for seeing us, thank you for speaking to us and thank you for being our God who looks after us. Amen

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (ESV)

Jesus, You have set us free and may we use that freedom to serve as you served and to love as you love. Amen

And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. (ESV)

Lord, write your words on the tablet of my heart so that I will take every opportunity to speak them to my family and those around me. Amen

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Jesus, help us to serve you and to do what is pleasing to you so that your name will be glorified. Amen

he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to be people after your heart like king David, whose greatest desire is to do your will. Amen

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy, when I fall, I shall rise, when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me. (ESV)

Jesus, we know that the enemy has no power over those who put their faith in you. You will be our light in the darkness and you will lift us up when we fall. Amen.

if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work. (ESV)

Jesus, cleanse us from anything that does not honor you. Set us apart so that we can do your will for your glory and your kingdom. Amen

Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been borne by me from before your birth, carried from the womb, even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear, I will carry and will save. (ESV)

Thank You Jesus for walking with us. You will carry us and you will save us. Amen

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. (ESV)

Father, We thank you for your protection on our family, our home and our community because we put our trust in you. Amen

God our Savior, desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to share your gospel message so others will know the truth of your salvation. Amen

I will rejoice in the Lord, I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength (ESV)

Precious Lord, you are my strength, you are my salvation and I will rejoice in you forever! Amen

you formed my inward parts, you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well. (ESV)

Father, you are the creator of all things and we worship you and praise your glorious name! Amen

since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (ESV)

Thank you Father for the peace that we have been given through your Son Jesus. Amen

The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light, but the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. (ESV)

Lord Jesus, you are the everlasting light that shines on us to show us your glory. Amen
