Jesus said: For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will answer them, Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to shine your light in this world and to love others the way you do. Amen

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (ESV)

Lord, we know that your plans are always good. We thank you for this day and for giving us your hope and a future with you forever. Amen

Jesus told this parable: What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost. (ESV)

Jesus, Thank you for pursuing us when we were lost and bringing us back to you. Amen

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (ESV)

Father, we thank you that you are always with us to strengthen us and we praise you for your righteousness. Amen

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (ESV)

Lord, help us to remember that everything we do should be to please you and glorify you. Amen

Even youths will faint and be weary, and young men will fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint. (ESV)

God, we know that with your strength that all things are possible. Thank you for renewing our strength as we wait for you. Amen

you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (ESV)

Lord, We thank you and praise you for choosing us to be your people and for sending Jesus to be our light. Amen

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (ESV)

Thank you for your promise that you will complete the work that you started. Help me to listen to you and follow you and always trust your will and your way! Amen

you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. (ESV)

Lord, I praise you for your steadfast love. Every day I wake up and receive your grace and mercy. Every day you pour out faithfulness. I trust you and thank you that you never change or fade in your care for me. Amen
