You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. (ESV)

Lord, you are the rock on which we stand. We praise you for your perfect peace and we trust in you.

do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (ESV)

Jesus, thank you for providing all that we need. We know that all good things come from you. Help us to seek you and your kingdom first. Amen

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (ESV)

Lord, thank you for the salvation that you gave us through your son, Jesus Christ. We have nothing to fear because the light of the world has come.

Jesus said: As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (ESV)

Lord, we know that true joy comes only from knowing you and loving you. Help us to keep your commandments and stay in your love. Amen
