Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. (ESV)

Lord, We trust in you because only you can provide everything we need. Help us to remain rooted in you and your word so that we will bear fruit by doing your will in this world. Amen

Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (ESV)

Jesus, thank you for always being with us. Help us Lord to always do your will and to tell others about your great love. Amen

O Lord, you are our Father;  we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. (ESV)

Lord, we thank you for creating us in your image and pray that we will reflect your character for all of our lives. Amen

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us (ESV)

Jesus, help us to understand that the amazing gifts you have for those who follow you and do your will are far greater than we can imagine. Amen

And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. (ESV)

God, we know that your son Jesus is the one who was given dominion over this world and we will serve him and look forward to the day when we will be with you in your everlasting kingdom. Amen

you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. (ESV)
