My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. (ESV)

Lord, we will keep your words close to our hearts and remember your teaching because you have shown us your favor and you have given us peace. Amen

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to show your love to others so that fear will have no place in our hearts. Amen

See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. (ESV)

Jesus, we will not seek revenge against anyone but only seek to do what is good and righteous in your sight. Amen

Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you (ESV)

God, we will keep your commandments because we know that your favor will be with us and future generations to come. Amen

Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. (ESV)

Jesus, give us wisdom and help us to always conduct ourselves in a way that is pleasing to you. Amen

Jesus said: whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (ESV)

Lord, we pray that we will always live to serve others and to give our service as a gift to you. We thank you for your example of service and we will follow your lead. Amen
