John the Baptist said: After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. (ESV)

Jesus, we are thankful that your Holy Spirit speaks to us and guides us in every moment and every situation. Amen

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (ESV)

Thank you God for this promise that nothing can take us away from you. Help us to trust that you keep all of your promises. Amen

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. (ESV)

Lord, when we call on you, let our hearts be sincere so that you will hear us and always be near. Amen

Jesus said: And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. (ESV)

Jesus, thank you for giving your Holy Spirit who lives in us and helps us to do your will in our lives. Amen

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. (ESV)

Jesus, we ask for your power to break down any strongholds in our lives and the lives of those around us so that all of us will know you more. Amen

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (ESV)
