Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. (ESV)

God, all of our gifts and talents come from you and we will use them to serve others and to serve you. May everything we think, say & do be for your kingdom and your glory! Amen

Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!  Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy (ESV)

Jesus, you are the light and the truth that the Psalmist spoke about and heaven is your dwelling. Amen

And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba! Father!  So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. (ESV)

Father, our hearts rejoice because you have set us free! Amen

God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (ESV)

Jesus, we look forward to the day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that you alone are Lord. Amen

You have declared today that the Lord is your God, and that you will walk in his ways, and keep his statutes and his commandments and his rules, and will obey his voice. And the Lord has declared today that you are a people for his treasured possession, as he has promised you, and that you are to keep all his commandments (ESV)

God, we will walk in your ways, keep your commandments and obey your voice because you have kept all of your promises and blessed us greatly. Amen

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. (ESV)

Jesus, we ask that you would help us to pray more for each other and that we would live in your righteousness so that our prayers will be effective. Amen
