If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? (ESV)

God, you have given us the greatest gift of all in your son Jesus and we thank you Lord, Amen

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. (ESV)

Lord, help us to give all of our plans to you and to follow only the ones that you have given to us. Amen

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. (ESV)

Jesus, we know that you will always be there with us through any trial and one day we will be there with you. Amen

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to understand how great your love is for us and help us to have the faith to be rooted in that love. Amen

Yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.  And do not turn aside after empty things that cannot profit or deliver, for they are empty.  For the Lord will not forsake his people, for his great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you a people for himself. (ESV)

God, we will serve you and not turn to other things that will never satisfy us because you have called us your sons & daughters. Amen

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (ESV)

Jesus, you were there when the world was created because you are one with God our Father and you will be there, seated at God’s right hand when we meet you face to face. Amen
