Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works (ESV)

Jesus, because of your great faithfulness, we can have a hope that never falters and because of your great love, we can encourage each other to love like you did. Amen

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (ESV)

Lord, your protection for us will never end, your foundation will never be shaken and our salvation can never be taken away. Amen

he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will (ESV)

God, because of your son Jesus, we are now sons & daughters and we are given the inheritance of your kingdom in heaven. Amen

One day Jesus got into a boat with his disciples, and he said to them, Let us go across to the other side of the lake. So they set out, and as they sailed he fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger.  And they went and woke him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing! And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm.  He said to them, Where is your faith? And they were afraid, and they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this, that he commands even winds and water, and they obey him? (ESV)

Jesus, no miracle is too difficult for the God who created the entire universe. We are thankful that you are always there to calm the storm for us! Amen

But we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise. (ESV)

Lord, you are the great shepherd and because of your great love for us, we will give thanks & praise to you. Amen

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (ESV)

Lord, we will give all of our cares to you, all of our prayers to you and all of our thanks to you. Amen
