Lord, in the beginning, you spoke and this world was created. We are thankful that your word continues to sustain us everyday. Amen

keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (ESV)

Jesus, we will stay in your love until the day when we will be with you forever. Amen

Jesus said: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (ESV)

Lord, you laid your life down for us and called us your friends. Help us to keep your command to love others in the same way. Amen

Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, Did we not cast three men bound into the fire? They answered and said to the king, True, O king. He answered and said, But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods. (ESV)

Jesus, just as God did not leave the 3 men alone in the fire, you will never leave us in the fires of life. Thank you Lord for freeing us from our sins and for protecting us from the enemy of our souls. Amen

Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you. (ESV)

God, to fear you is to have great reverence and respect for you. Help us to serve you through everything that we do with all of our hearts. Amen

Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops. (ESV)

Lord, you hear every word that we say and you know every thought that we have. Let all of our thoughts be pure and may all of our words show honor to you. Amen
