God, you are great, you are perfect, you are just and you are faithful! There is no other God! Amen

And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (ESV)

Jesus, thank you for your promise that anyone who rejects their sin and accepts you as their Lord & Savior will receive your Holy Spirit. Amen

Jesus said: You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. (ESV)

Lord, thank you for pursuing us and for putting your word in our hearts that guides us and enables us to do your will. Amen

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.  And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. (ESV)

God thank you for giving us a clean heart and for putting your Holy Spirit in every believer. Help us to hear you more clearly and to always walk in your ways. Amen

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (ESV)

Lord Jesus, this world can do nothing to those who have put their trust and faith in you because you have prepared a place for us in your glorious kingdom. Amen
