In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (ESV)

The earth and everything in it belongs to you God and we praise you because we are your creation. Amen

God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. (ESV)

Jesus, Thank you for showing us your love by filling the heart of every believer with your Holy Spirit. Amen

I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service. (ESV)

Lord, thank you for your strength and help us to be faithful in our service to you. Amen

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live. (ESV)

Lord, we choose to follow you because you are the source of all life. Amen

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. (ESV)

Lord, draw us closer to you and give us faith that pleases you. Amen

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.  For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. (ESV)

Jesus, we deserved condemnation because of our disobedience, but you have saved us by your righteousness and we thank you Lord. Amen
