He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Holy Spirit, in this hectic world that beats us down, teach us to wait for you and your strength! Amen

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. (ESV)

Father, as we face the daily struggles of this world, all our hope comes from this Angelic proclamation! Amen

For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king, he will save us. (ESV)

Lord, it is not the laws of man that save us, but your holy Word! Give us the desire to study it daily! Amen

Then the Levites… said, “Stand up and bless the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. “You are the Lord, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you. Lord, give us the courage to stand up and publicly bless your Holy Name! Amen

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (ESV)

Lord, Jesus – we yearn to bear fruit for you with thankful hearts for our salvation; let us always remember that we need to abide in you to bear that fruit! Amen

For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? (ESV)

Thank you, Lord, for revealing that you are the ONLY God and that you are always with us! Amen

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. (ESV)

Holy Spirit, just as they saw the Father through Jesus, may others see Jesus through us! Amen

The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. (ESV)

Oh, Lord! May we always seek you in everything we do! Amen

And he said to them, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

We will be your laborers, Jesus and spread your great name. Amen

as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter. (ESV)

Lord Jesus, we put our hope, our faith and our trust in you. May we always be desperately dependent on you. Amen

The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. (ESV)

Lord Jesus, may we always stay close to you and seek you every day of our lives. Amen

And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season, they shall be showers of blessing. (ESV)

Father, you have showered your blessings on us and we will praise you and worship you because of your goodness! Amen

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? (NIV)

Holy Spirit, help us to forgive the faults of others and to confess our sins to you so that we can receive your forgiveness. Amen

Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed, all came to pass. (ESV)

Father, we believe that every word in your Holy Bible is true and that every promise you have made to us in your word will be fulfilled. Amen

The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. (ESV)

Jesus, help us to treasure you so that our hearts and mouths will overflow with your love. Amen

Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world (ESV)

Father, when we complain, we separate ourselves from you. When we praise and worship you, we make a connection with you that allows us to shine your light in this world. Amen

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. (ESV)

Father, we will not be afraid of what others think of us. Our concern will be to always do what is pleasing in your sight. Amen

Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

Jesus, we love you and we give our praise to the Lord our God in your great name! Amen

Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (ESV)

Jesus, our faith is in you and our trust is in you because all things are possible with you. Amen
